Gwen the floating starfish.
Another dive at bait reef. Wonderfully clear water, and a we saw a surprisingly large number of parrot fish while in the water. As usual, I was the first one to consume my planned allocation of air. Buoyancy on this dive was much better than the last.
According to Jacinta I was a complete wuss on this dive, being unwilling to complete swim-throughs or anything else even mildly exciting. Of course, I have no recollection of these incidents at all -- I'm sure that I was simply distracted by the colourful fish rather than refusing.
Since this dive was shallower than our last, we took our disposable underwater camera with it, and took a few snaps. Later, when we got the photos developed, we discovered that Gwen's photography while snorkling was much better than ours while diving. This may just be because Gwen has a better eye for detail, but also due in part to the reduced light available at lower depths.

Colourful staghorn corals.
