Another dive under the pier, where we discovered that batteries should be recharged after each dive. . The dive wasn't anything special, but we had some free time, and free air fills, so we were glad to take a dip before our next boat trip.
During the dive we found the reef to the side of the pier and went exploring. This is also a mooring area for boats, and given the (lack of) depth in the water I was always looking over my shoulder to make sure nobody would be running over the top of us. As it was we didn't encounter any problems, but I believe that towing a surface buoy would probably be wise for pier dives.
